The design collaboration amongst Simon Laws of Anthill Constructions led to the growth of an authentic home entitled Drew House and situated in Queensland, Australia. Situated close to the famous Excellent Barrier Reef, it goes without having saying that this dwelling had to be as environmentally-pleasant as attainable. Here is how the architects took this challenge: “Residing and sleeping pods along with a bath house were built in Brisbane, near to development solutions and transported the 500 km to the fully finished internet site. The prefabricated parabolic roofed structure and decks were erected on internet site and the various pods have been connected through a big central outdoor living and dining region. Organic oiled timbers and other very low-completed supplies produce a neutral atmosphere that along with the dynamic indoor/outside spaces, let the maximum enjoyment of the wonderful bushland setting and mild sub-tropical climate. Rainwater tanks, solar hot water and electrical panels and a passive power efficient layout make the residence largely self adequate“.
